Free Nest Thermostat Scheme – Aura Heating

We are currently working in tandem with Havant Borough Council and East Hampshire District Council to deliver a new scheme for your heating system.

You may have seen information regarding a current scheme where those who are eligible can get a Nest Thermostat installed for free, saving £289.

Not only do you save on installation costs, but you could also see a saving of up to 12% on your heating bills too!

So let’s see what it’s all about.

What is the Nest Thermostat?

The Nest Thermostat is a smart heating system tool that learns the temperatures you like, at the time of day you like them.

You might be thinking what’s the difference with this one – Many thermostats are programmable aren’t they?

The Nest Thermostat Programs Itself

The nifty thing about the Nest Thermostat is that it learns from you and programs itself.

Once it has been installed, you just change the temperature whenever you like over the first few days of having it. It will start to learn what temperatures you like, and when you want them.

After a few days of learning when you want a certain temperature in your home, the Nest Thermostat will program itself to create a weekly temperature schedule fitted perfectly to you and your home.

Although there are other programmable thermostats available, they often take a lot of time to program with lengthy input of temperatures, days and times. The Nest Thermostat does all of this for you!

How will the Nest Thermostat help me to save energy?

Because the Nest Thermostat learns the temperatures that you like and when you want them, it can program itself to turn off the heating when you’re not in the house. This saves you having the heating on when no one is home, thus saving energy and reducing your bills.

Am I eligible for the free Nest Thermostat scheme?

To qualify for a new Nest heating controller, one of the following criteria must apply:

• You are aged 60 or over
• You have a child under 5 or are a pregnant mother
• You are in receipt of eligible benefits
• You have a property EPC D or below
• You have long term health conditions
• You have an illness exacerbated by the cold, confirmed by a GP
• You live in a park home
• You live in Wecock Farm
• You live in a GU35 postcode

If one or more of these criteria apply, then you may be eligible for the offer – Please give us a call to discuss if you can have a Nest Thermostat installed at your property for free under the scheme. Why not get your boiler serviced at the same time?

For a limited time, we are also offering a wall hung Boiler Service for £75, for anyone having a Nest Thermostat installed.

It’s important to keep up to date with your boiler services – We recommend you have one annually. Many boiler warranties are void if you do not keep up with yearly boiler services.

They also help catch any potential issues before they start to cause problems, which could save you from costly repairs and replacements later down the line.

*Please note that the Free Nest scheme is only available to houses; other property types will incur a small surcharge. Nest must operate the whole property and multiple zones will not get funding.
