To qualify for your free central heating, you should meet one of the following….
- In receipt of eligible benefits
- Low income

Fully funded gas central heating is available to various homes where the occupier meets the criteria above. Cost of heating use within your house will account for up to 60% of your overall energy usage, so it is important to ensure that you are as efficient as possible. The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) should fully fund the cost of the installation of new central heating. Tis is available to both private tenants and owner occupier properties.
You must have a gas meter in your property, so whether you have an existing warm air heating system or even just a gas cooker or fire then we can install new heating for you. The gas meter must have been installed before 31st March 2022.
The installation will include a new combi boiler with radiator in all habitable rooms. A digital controller. The removal of the existing heating and rubbish from site. Usually, the installation of central heating would cost be in the region of £4500 – £6000 depending on the complexity of the job. In cases where your property needs additional insulation then Aura Heating will undertake the work to ensure that your home energy rating is improved significantly. Funding is limited and early application is promoted.
Where you do not have a gas supply and your property is suitable we can also access funding for Air Source Heat Pumps to install this at no charge to you.
Central Heating with either a gas boiler or heat pump can be disruptive, but the installation can be done in only 2 days, depending on the size of the system, usually to ensure that this is as painless as possible for you. Once installed central heating can help against damp within a property. Any insulation will also improve the property and potentially add value to your home.
