In this role you will work with our technical team to support the design/proposed schedule of works for a new heating systems and other energy saving measures to existing retrofit properties by reviewing the energy assessment to ensure maximum impact and overall property improvement via the most suitable funding available. This position requires strong communication and organisational skills. Post installation you will be responsible for collating the data from our CRM to submit this via a portal for approval and subsequent payment from the funding body. The ideal candidate will be passionate about energy improvement and have experience working in a similar role and/or experience in Retrofit Assessments/Administration within the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate heating system requirements for domestic properties from pre-determined data.
- Identify additional energy saving measures required following an external survey.
- Review energy assessments of properties to identify areas for improvement and recommend energy-saving measures.
- Work with energy assessors, engineers, and suppliers to ensure that heating systems are integrated to meet all building codes and regulations.
- Prepare and review project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
- Prepare stock lists from templates and submit to supply chain based on the project/best value requirements.
- Confirm and agree project approval with end user based on their needs.
- Extract project data and evidence and submit via a secure platform accurately.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in heating products and energy efficiency.
About you:
- Understand and/or interest in the UK housing stock and improving efficiency.
- A desire to reduce the UK carbon emissions via housing stock energy saving installations.
- An interest in household energy saving measures, including boilers, heat pumps, solar PV and insulation.
- Strong Microsoft Office (specifically excel) skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
