Newly Qualified Gas Engineer Job Opportunity

Looking to upskill? We are looking for a newly qualified gas engineer with less than 12 months post qualification experience in either service and repair or installation to join our team.

Operatives with less than 5 years’ experience but more than 12 months from qualification remuneration will be agreed on a case-by-case basis, skill set dependant.

All additional qualifications and skills will be taken into consideration during recruitment process and at interview stage. All additional qualifications and training including ACS can be undertaken via an Aura Sponsorship Agreement where we will then apply an additional payment for the additional skills that an operative may hold.

• Geographical Waiting (up to) £2,000
• Renewables (ASHP/Solar PV) £2,000
• OFTEC Oil £1,500
• LPG £500
• Unvented Cylinders £500

Operative Senior Responsibility Allowance (SRA)

Aura Heating are striving to find ‘Grade A’ employees and for that reason we offer an additional SRA for those which we believe go above and beyond for our customers and for the team around them. Once out of your probationary period you can request the SRA and this will be offered on a number of criteria that include Timekeeping, attendance, personal appearance, attitude, flexibility, recall rate, overall job completion rate, van condition, management of van stock/materials.

• SRA – up to £4800

All suitably qualified operatives will take part in the company call out rota which runs from 5.00pm on Friday to 8.00am the following Friday with a call out retainer of £120.00. If you are called out during this period, you are paid at Time *1.5 door to door for call out.
